do i
bump
and struggle
through
another dislocated
day
or
do i return
to my bed

will gnaw
chew

invites speculation

this pandemic

team chase
in ether
for the cure
for us
freedom’s voice
while elsewhere
shrouded power
angers and
abuses
maintains
fear
anxiety and
control

with only pathology
for comfort
